Workdays vs. business days
This calculator uses Monday through Friday as workdays. It does not automatically subtract public holidays, company holidays, or personal days off. Therefore the result may differ from a legal, banking, payroll, shipping, or contractual “business day” calculation. Do not rely on this tool for legal or financial deadlines.
Worked example
For a start date of July 29, 2026 and a target date of August 31, 2026, the calculator shows 23 workdays, 33 calendar days, 10 weekend days, 4 full workweeks plus 3 extra workdays, with the next counted workday on July 30, 2026.
